On a golden Honolulu evening framed by the sea, a select group of tastemakers gathered for the launch of ULTRA VIOLET—a new experiential series under VIOLET, the award-winning platform created by NMG Network in collaboration with the Kobayashi Group.
This debut marked more than the start of a new chapter—it was the embodiment of VIOLET’s evolution: from powerful narratives in print and film to immersive, living moments designed to celebrate the very visionaries who inspire them.
Held at the oceanfront Kaimana Beach Hotel, the evening brought together artistry in all its forms. Guests were welcomed into a dreamlike setting animated by TRADMAN’S BONSAI, the living sculptures of Tokyo-based artist Teppei Kojima, curated in serene harmony with a minimalist installation by Hawai‘i painter Kelly Sueda.

As waves lapped the shore, guests enjoyed a deeply intentional culinary journey by Chef KI of Bar Maze, paired perfectly with elegant pours from IWA SAKE. The atmosphere was intimate yet electric—elevated by the sonic stylings of DJ Compose and a design language that mirrored the aesthetic clarity VIOLET is known for.
More than a party, ULTRA VIOLET is a reimagining of what community and creativity can look like. It invites a new kind of gathering—rooted in story, rich in experience, and radiant with possibility.
