Captured on a Super 8 camera and photographed on film by Angela Hill, the latest campaign from Miu Miu presents an intimate holiday gathering inside an Elizabethan manor tucked away in the British countryside.
The scene’s guests—played by Gigi Hadid, Dede Mansro, Viola, and Ju Xiaowen—become entranced by their majestic surroundings. As the well-appointed women encounter various rooms of the palatial home, an undercurrent of curiosity belies a buoyant, high-spirited mood. Amid ancient brick work, scarred stones, and a monolithic stone fireplace, the nascent beauty of youth echoes the evergreen joy of the season.
Within the weathered mansion walls, time’s unflinching momentum is juxtaposed with delicate, graceful attire that radiates beauty, hope, and wonder. Each Miu Miu design—the suede wraparound skirt, the embroidered cashmere cardigan—is artfully amplified through vintage touches and artisanal craftsmanship. Edgy layering brings an air of rebellion to the party: A waxed suede leather jacket atop an embroidered duchesse skirt and leather loafers. A shearling patchwork caban jacket over a classic ribbed jersey tank top.
Signature footwear in the form of moccasins, loafers, slippers, and ballerinas is contrasted with knee-high stretch leather designs, satin sneakers, and pointed-toe, grosgrain-trimmed pumps with a high or kitten heel.
