Shrugging off the frost of winter, Miu Miu’s LʻÉté 2025 collection is a breath of fresh air. In a sunlit garden, irreverent takes on childhood dress codes conjure the carefree romance of adolescent summers.
Signature fabrics in cotton poplin, piquet, knit and leather reimagine silhouettes from classic to sporty, dressed to undressed. Here, unique style is the utmost accessory; self-expression, not self-restraint, is the order of the day. A rebellious air sees knitted bustier tops or knotted bandana-print scarves worn over sweaters and shirts; belts, heavily embellished, layered over underwear and with fingerless gloves; abbreviated bra tops and full, knee-length skirts paired with knee-high footless socks.
It is all classically Miu Miu, renowned for its playfully provocative interpretations of femininity. The campaign continues the visual language of the Spring-Summer 2025 runway in Paris, where even the accessories exude a knowing wink. Shiny, block-heeled mary janes have a girlish charm. Sneakers with mismatched laces and clogs with authentic wooden heels radiate a whimsical ease.
Signature Miu Miu bags are refreshed, with The Wander and Beau reiterated in woven leather and the Aventure presented in luxurious, brushed suede. Branded beach bags, lightweight raffia totes, and backpacks in primary-colored canvas and leather conjure the magic laden in the warmer months.

The collection also extends its collaborative conversation with French heritage brand, Petit Bateau, whose iconic basics are reinterpreted as a Miu Miu-exclusive line-up of tank tops, boatneck t-shirts, and briefs in an ultra-soft, striped cotton jersey. Meanwhile, jewelry pulls from nature to add touches of botanical beauty. And charmingly playful bag tricks bring personalized accents to any look.
Shot by acclaimed British artist and filmmaker Siân Davey, the campaign is the first time that Davey has turned her creative eye to fashion. Known for her intimate portraits of identity and coming-of-age, Davey’s lens transforms the collection into a vignette of stylish selfhood. The result is a campaign that feels lived-in, not styled; suggestive rather than staged.
Against the sun-dappled scene, where vintage furnishings evoke a dreamy memory rather than a simple set, a diverse cast of characters, including Canadian actress Callina Liang and American actress and model Diana Silvers, cultivates an understated and quiet elegance. Here, the campaign is about more than the wardrobe, it is about a feeling. It is an invitation from Miuccia Prada to step outdoors and bask in the nostalgia of it all.
